The challenge
Greenhouse PR is a mission-driven communications agency growing at a fast pace to meet the growing needs of the climate emergency. They needed strong financial leadership underpinned by robust systems, processes and management information to navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with success.
How we tackled it together
Working closely with the Founder, we quickly understood where we could add value, developing a virtual finance team providing support from strategic insight and planning through to setting up processes that would liberate their team. This partnership has helped Greenhouse’s leadership team build confidence in their strategic decisions and plan for growth. Our service also extended to hiring, training and supporting a new Finance Director, and ensuring that the entire finance function ran smoothly and supported the Founder, MD and the wider team.

The challenge
Moving from being a start-up to a scaling business is tricky, with team members often wearing many different hats and battling through a never ending to-do list. Luna 9 needed help seeing the wood from the trees to help them realise their potential.
How we tackled it together
The key to helping Luna 9 was sharing the load. After a consultation to establish their pain points and how we could help, we implemented a range of processes to make life easier for Michael and the rest of the team. Automating a lot of the financial tasks meant we could start reporting and forecasting more accurately, and working with our Virtual Finance Team has meant the Luna 9 team has a much clearer picture about how to increase their positive impact.

Glimpse started off as an experiment – applying positive thinking and commercial flair to charities. The experiment definitely worked but in order to grow and develop, the organisation needed financial stability and the right processes in place.
